SURKANDA DEVI TEMPLE
This temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeth located all over Indian subcontinent and is dedicated to Goddess Surkanda – a manifestation of feminine divine. The temple is famous for its architectural beauty and its location – perched at an altitude of 2,700 meters offering a 360-degree view of the surrounding region along with the snowy Himalayan peaks.
DASHAVATAR TEMPLE
Initially known as Panchayatan temple, Dashavatar Temple is located 10 km away from Dhaulti in Deogarh. The temple dates back to the Gupta Empire and is enshrined by Lord Vishnu. Besides a wonderful architecture, the walls have beautifully carved panels and inscriptions of Vaishnava mythology.
TEHRI DAM
Tehri Dam is a popular hydroelectric project and tourist attraction in the Tehri district, offering scenic views and water sports activities.
DEOGARH FORT
Immerse in a state of amusement while you gaze at the ornate structure built back in the 16th century. The fort features beautifully carved walls adorned with murals and rustic colors. It is one of the famous places to visit in Dhanaulti.
